As a family run business with over 40 years of exceptional service and quality products, Dean & Co. offer the perfect experience for anyone looking to induldge in a beautiful new look for their home with new handmade curtains, bespoke blinds and a range of soft furnishings.
Brother and sister, Joannah & Christopher, are the second generation of the Dean family to work with the business. Originally established by their parents Margaret and James Dean in 1980 (as Maison Furnishers), based in a small shop in Witham, they moved to their current site within Hatfields of Colchester in 1990, where the business has continued to thrive.
When Joannah & Christopher’s parents retired in 2010, they re-branded as Dean & Co. to highlight their commitment to the family business and its 40 years of quality and great customer service.

You will often find me in the store, working with the team to showcase the latest trends and innovations in interior design. In addition to working with customers to help them achieve their look, I regularly visit launch events and meet with fabric suppliers to ensure we have all the latest ranges available.

I am usually out visiting customers, handling the measuring and fitting of all our products. I love working with customers in their home, helping them make appropriate choices to achieve their dream interior. My eye for detail, and years of experience with our products, will make sure you always get your desired look.
